About the role

We are seeking an experienced Butcher to join our team at Mckays quality meats' in Langwarrin, VIC. This full-time role is crucial in ensuring we continue to provide the highest quality meat products and exceptional customer service to our loyal clientele.

What you'll be doing

Expertly prepare, cut, and package a variety of meats to customer specifications

Provide friendly and knowledgeable service to customers, offering advice on product selection and preparation

Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked butchery display

Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations

Assist with the general operations of the store as required

What we're looking for

Formal butchery qualifications or equivalent extensive experience

Exceptional meat cutting, trimming, and packaging skills

Strong customer service orientation and the ability to provide expert product advice

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards

Ability to work efficiently and as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment
