A permanent, full-time opportunity is now available to lead a bustling retail precinct for one of Australia’s much loved and respected property developers. This is a pivotal leadership position within a top-tier property group where your strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and people leadership will directly shape the performance and legacy of a flagship asset. ________________________________________ The Opportunity Reporting to the Portfolio Manager, you’ll lead the daily operations and strategic direction of this high-performing centre. You will guide a team of three direct reports (all newly appointed) and champion a culture of performance, consistency, and service excellence. ________________________________________ What You’ll Be Doing • Drive consistent execution of the strategic asset plan across all functions including leasing, capital works, marketing, and operations. • Deliver strong financial oversight, including budget management, forecasting, capital planning, and full P&L accountability. • Guide, mentor, and build a high-performing, outcomes-driven team. • Build collaborative relationships with retailers, drive tenant engagement, and support leasing negotiations aligned with valuation strategies. • Ensure all compliance, asset presentation, and customer service benchmarks are met or exceeded. • Partner closely with national teams to embed group-wide strategic initiatives. ________________________________________ What You’ll Bring • Over 5 years’ experience in retail centre/asset management • Demonstrated leadership experience managing multi-functional teams with a focus on mentoring and accountability. • Deep knowledge of asset financials, leasing dynamics, valuation impacts, and performance benchmarking. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a service-first mindset and high emotional intelligence. • Relevant tertiary qualifications ideally (Property, Real Estate, Commerce or similar) and a valid Real Estate License or Certificate of Registration. ________________________________________ What’s on Offer • Salary upto $180k + bonus • Opportunity to shape a key retail precinct with high visibility and strong community connection. • Strategic leadership role reporting directly to the Portfolio Manager. • Be part of a values-driven organisation that empowers autonomy, collaboration, and growth. ________________________________________ Next Steps Send your CV to [email protected] or call Luke on 0419 000 101 to discuss the role in greater detail.
