INDIAN RASOOI ZETLAND is a fine dining establishment renowned for delivering an exquisite culinary experience. Our commitment to excellence extends to every aspect of our operations, including the cuisine we offer. Currently, we are seeking a passionate Cook skilled in Indian preparations to join our culinary team full time.

You will play a crucial role in creating and presenting authentic Indian dishes that meet the highest standards of taste, quality, and presentation. Your responsibilities will include:

Collaborate with the chef to the creation and enhancement of our Indian cuisine menu.

Expertly prepare and cook a variety of traditional Indian dishes, showcasing a deep understanding of diverse regional cuisines.

Ensure that all dishes leaving the kitchen meet the established quality and presentation standards, paying close attention to detail.

Work seamlessly with other team members in a fast-paced kitchen environment, maintaining cleanliness, organization, and adherence to all safety and hygiene protocols.

Bring creativity and innovation to the kitchen, exploring new techniques, flavours, and presentation styles while staying true to the authenticity of Indian cuisine.

Provide guidance and training to junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.

Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring freshness and minimizing waste.

Requirements:

AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV or another acceptable qualification in Cooking or related Or 3 years of relevant experience in the absence of qualification.

Proven experience of at least 1 year as Cook with a focus on fine dining establishments.

In-depth knowledge of Indian culinary traditions and a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences.

Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Excellent teamwork skills.

A commitment to following food safety and hygiene regulations.

Ability to work on weekends and public holidays.

Benefits:

A salary of $73,200 to $74,500 per annum plus superannuation
