YOUR MISSION – What You’ll Be Doing

As our new Assistant Client Manager, you’re not just crunching numbers—you’re transforming lives. You’ll be the go-to guide for your clients, helping them achieve financial clarity and confidence through:

✨ Client Relationship Management – Be the friendly expert your clients turn to for tax and business support.

🧠 Technical Tax & Accounting – Prepare and review financials and income tax returns across structures (Sole Traders, Companies, Trusts, etc.) using Xero.

🚀 Advisory & Support – Go beyond compliance to provide insights, ideas, and genuine business support.

🤖 AI-Enabled Thinking – Embrace emerging tech and automation to improve efficiency, client outcomes, and team collaboration.

📚 Learning & Development – Stay sharp with CPD, Xerocon, and other PD opportunities.

🤝 Team Collaboration – Work closely with our Senior Client Manager and broader team to elevate your skills, share ideas, and contribute to a culture of good change.

WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT?

We’re looking for someone who’s both technically capable and values-aligned—someone who thrives on client connection, continuous learning, and doing meaningful work that matters.

Must-Haves

3+ years recent experience in an Australian Tax Accounting Role

Strong knowledge of on the Australian Tax System

Proficiency in Xero and Microsoft Office

Excellent communication—you turn complexity into clarity

A self-starter mindset with initiative, curiosity, and follow-through

Tech Savvy operator - leveraging for efficiency & accuracy

Nice-to-Haves

CPA or CA (preferred, not essential)

Experience across a range of business structures

A genuine interest in AI, automation, and using technology to innovate

Carbon Accounting Experience

Software Skills : Karbon, Syft, Xbert, AccountKit, CAS360, ACIS, AuditCover, Trace - or similar to any of these.
