Looking for an experienced Kitchen Hand to join a corporate catering team in the Sydney CBD.

About the role:

Set up, operation and pack down of wash up area

Washing, cleaning and appropriate storage of kitchen equipment, crockery, cutlery and glassware

Receiving, checking and storing of deliveries

Assisting the kitchen team with general food preparation

Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment

Assisting with buffet and room set up and pack down as required

Complying with WHS obligations and workplace policies and procedures

About you:

Prior experience in a similar role - corporate kitchen or catering environment

Able to use a commercial dishwasher

High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail

Food preparation experience

Food handling certificate and understanding of hygiene standards and practices

Good organisation and communication skills

Neat and professional personal presentation

You must have permanent working rights in Australia (Citizenship or Permanent Residency).
