📍 Aspley / Brisbane | 🕐 Part-time (option to scale up) | Hybrid WFH & Office | Immediate Start
💸 SCHADS Award Level 3.2 - 4.1+ including Charity Salary Packaging
🌱 Designed for people-first professionals. Run by people-first humans.
Are you a Support Coordinator who’s tired of high KPIs, vague systems, and not enough time to do the work that matters?
At Meliora Support Services, we’re building something better — and we’re looking for someone who gets it.
We're a charity delivering NDIS supports across SEQ, grounded in real relationships and clear values:
Kinship. Honesty. Empathy. Growth. Adventure.
We’re seeking a warm, highly organised and experienced Support Coordinator to join our growing team. We’ve designed our entire coordination process around people, not just billables — including our custom-built Support Coordination system in Asana, developed in-house by actual coordinators who understand the job.
This is a part-time salaried role with room to grow — ideal for someone wanting to be part of a thoughtful, responsive team that is collaborative, creative, and supportive by design.
✨ What Makes This Role Different
SCHADS Level 3.2–4.1 + salary packaging
Your pay reflects your expertise — and with charity salary packaging, you can reduce tax on things like rent, mortgage, living costs, meals and novated leases. We are also open to negotiation for the right person.
We don’t overload your caseload
We believe quality outcomes need time, space, and clarity — not 80%+ billables. You’ll be given a manageable number of participants and trusted to work collaboratively and proactively, not reactively. We're in this for the right reasons and we want like-hearted coordinators in our team.
Built-for-purpose systems in Asana
Our custom-built, intuitive Asana system helps you track, plan, and report your work without reinventing the wheel. It was made by people doing the work, and we redesign as needed — not because of trends, but because it makes life easier.
Hybrid work and flexibility
We’re based in Aspley, and you’ll have a combination of WFH and office time. Your hours can be shaped around your life — because people-first applies to staff too.
A stable home for independents
If you’re currently working as a sole trader and want to transition into a supported team before the NDIS registration cut-off, we’re happy to explore welcoming you under our banner — with systems, insurance, structure, and community ready to go.
A real culture of care and collaboration
We check in regularly, work together on hard things, and constantly ask how we can do better — for participants and for our people.
🧠 About You
You’re a strong Support Coordinator with a heart for clarity, advocacy, and person-led work. You believe in empowering people with the information, support and confidence they need to thrive. You’re consistent, compassionate, and not afraid of a complex plan or a tricky situation.
You love well-run systems — and you actually use them.
You thrive in roles where you can be organised, communicative, and genuinely helpful.
🎯 Your Key Responsibilities
Work alongside participants to understand and implement their NDIS plans in a way that aligns with their goals, needs, and preferences.
Support participants to build capacity, make informed choices, and develop confidence managing their supports.
Coordinate with formal and informal supports including allied health, providers, community supports, housing, mental health services, and government agencies.
Ensure all activities and notes are clearly documented using our Asana-based SC system.
Assist with plan reviews, change of circumstances, and plan reassessments.
Monitor budgets, troubleshoot service gaps, and help clients adapt to life changes or barriers.
Attend appointments, home visits, and stakeholder meetings where needed.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the NDIS, community resources, and relevant legislation.
Work collaboratively with your team, leaders, and participants — bringing both empathy and structure to your day.
📝 You’ll Need
At least 2 years of experience working as a Support Coordinator under the NDIS - or 3+ years in the industry overall and 1 year of Support Coordination
Clear communication and strong administrative skills
A mindset that’s both person-centred and system-aware
Confidence using tech (bonus if you’ve used CRMs, Asana, or Trello)
Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check, Blue Card, National Police Check
Australian driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (travel reimbursed)
🌈 Extra Bonus Points
Experience in Psychosocial Recovery Coaching (not required but highly regarded)
A background in mental health, social work, psychology, OT, or a related field
You’re actively looking for a team that values creativity, authenticity, and clarity
Why Meliora?
We’re small enough to care deeply, and structured enough to do things well. We meet people where they’re at — and that includes our team. You won’t be expected to burn out or "just get it done." You’ll be supported to do your job properly, grow professionally, and enjoy the work you do.
