Supporting increased participation in national screening programs for the early detection of breast, bowel, and cervical cancer.

Providing proactive leadership and advocacy to support Victoria’s cervical cancer elimination goal.

Supporting the development of new screening pathways including for lung cancer.

Supporting increased and improved outreach to ACCOs for allied health screening initiatives e.g. by visiting audiologists and optometrists and supporting ACCOs to develop their own screening capabilities.

The Executive Manager is responsible for developing, coaching, and mentoring staff to achieve project objectives within annual cycles of impact reporting. Working collaboratively with other teams within VACCHO, the Screening and Early Detection team also contributes to improving Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) within VACCHO’s member organisations.
