Job Title: Business Administrator
Location: North Sydney, NSW
Employment Type: 6-Month Contract (with potential for extension)
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Business Administrator to join a growing team in Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, supporting a centralized admin team to deliver equipment, coordinate larger events, and provide seamless administrative support.

This role is onsite 5 days per week initially, with the potential to reassess hybrid options after the initial period.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for all administrative needs across multiple sites.

Coordinate new hire onboarding and employee departures in collaboration with team admins.

Manage seating maps and support individual and group seating requests.

Assist in planning and coordinating larger group meetings and morale events.

Partner with support staff across the organization to ensure consistent and high-quality experiences.

Anticipate team needs and make administrative decisions based on business priorities.

Ensure compliance with administrative policies and procedures.

Develop and maintain on-site processes and improvements.

A Typical Day in the Role:

Using tools like Outlook, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint to manage tasks and communicate effectively.

Collaborating with team members and other admins to manage projects and events.

Supporting onboarding processes with a highly supportive team.

About You:
We are looking for a candidate with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.

Key Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role (e.g., Business Administrator, Office Manager, HR Admin).

2-3 years of administrative experience, ideally in the tech industry.

Strong communication skills (both written and spoken).

Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.

Experience with AI tools like Copilot is a plus.

Ability to embrace ambiguity and prioritize learning.

Nice to have: Procurement background.
