Quest Townsville on Eyre have an opportunity available for a Maintenance Person to join its team on a long term casual basis.

The Role

Quest Townsville on Eyre maintenance person is a highly valued member of our teams, and key to ensuring positive experiences for our guests and the overall success of the business. Applicants must demonstrate a can-do, responsible, and flexible approach to work, excellent communication skills, a friendly customer service demeanour and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel property.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently.

Troubleshoot and fix appliances, fixtures, and equipment.

Collaborate with housekeeping and front desk teams to address guest concerns.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in maintenance, handyman services, or a related field.

Strong knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repair work

Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently.

Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments.

Excellent time management and communication skills.
