Park Regis Anchorage Townsville is looking for a Casual Property Maintenance Person to join our team.

This person will be responsible for the daily upkeep and appearance and entire maintenance of the hotel and properties. Key responsibilities will be (but not limited to):

• Welcoming guests if/when you see them during the hotel check-in & check-out experience and also during their stay with us
• Assisting guests with any requests and sharing your local knowledge
• Working alongside housekeeping to ensure all hotel rooms are fully operational and addressing any maintenance issues if they arise
• Dealing with any customer complaints or issues with the best outcomes
• General upkeep of the properties with regards to mowing, gardens, rubbish removal, cleaning of pools, maintenance of pools with chemicals, cleaning of common areas, and overall keeping the best appearance of the hotel at all times.

Skills and experience:

• Mowing, lawn and garden maintenance
• Pool and pool chemical maintenance
• General repairs and maintenance experience with residential units
• Active ability to lift, remove, and dispose of rubbish daily & weekly
• Small jobs would include tiling, plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, and small handyman jobs.
• Housekeeping support with linen removal
• Airconditioning filter cleaning and drain cleaning
• Water pressure cleaning when required

Hours required are from 7am till 12pm midday every Monday - Friday, the position would suit semi-retired builder or tradesmen or person chasing the perfect gig.
