The Role
Join our dedicated and growing team at Top Team Health and Wellbeing, where we are committed to delivering high-quality care and support to elderly and disabled clients across the Riverland region. As a Casual Support Worker, you will play a key role in enriching the lives of individuals in our local community through compassionate, person-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide support to clients with physical or intellectual disabilities, including those with complex or challenging behaviours
Assist clients with activities of daily living such as personal care, meal preparation, and light domestic duties
Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful and stimulating activities to enhance their wellbeing
Facilitate community access and support clients in maintaining their independence
Transporting clients to appointments
Maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks as required
Comply with all organisational policies, procedures, and workplace health and safety standards
About You
We’re seeking individuals who are:
Passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of others
Client-focused with a commitment to providing high-quality, person-centered support
Excellent communicators, with the ability to adapt communication styles to suit diverse audiences
Organised, reliable, and capable of working independently
Flexible with availability, including evenings and weekends
Qualifications and Requirements
Certificate III (or higher) in Disability, Mental Health, or related field
Current First Aid certificate
Valid Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
Demonstrated experience in a similar support or care-giving role
Sound knowledge of aged care and disability support services
Current driver’s license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle
