About the role

Join the team at Nicholson Civil as a full-time Civil Operator in SEQ . This is a hands-on role where you will be operating a range of heavy machinery and assisting with the installation of underground utilities and site preparation for residential and commercial construction projects.

What you'll be doing

Operate and maintain a variety of heavy machinery such as excavators, posi-track loaders and graders.

Assist with the installation of underground pipes, cables, and drainage systems

Prepare site areas for construction by clearing, levelling, and compacting soil

Carry out general labouring duties as required

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and site procedures

Contribute to the overall success of construction projects

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar civil construction or earthmoving role

Competent in the operation of a range of heavy machinery and equipment

Ability to read and interpret site plans and drawings

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety

Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour tasks

Reliable, adaptable and able to work well in a team

Current construction industry white card and driver's licence
