Borghetti, a brand new cafe located just off Macaulay Road in the vibrant suburb of Kensington, is seeking a passionate and skilled full-time Chef to join our team and help bring our culinary vision to life! As our Chef, you will be responsible for all aspects of kitchen operations, from menu preparation and cooking to maintaining a clean and organized workspace. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of food for our customers and contributing to the overall success of Borghetti.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items to Borghetti's standards, ensuring consistency and quality.

Manage inventory and ensure efficient stock rotation.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Assist with menu development and contribute creative ideas.

Ensure timely and efficient food preparation to meet customer demand.

Collaborate effectively with other team members.

Required Attributes:

Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a cafe or restaurant setting.

Strong culinary skills and a passion for creating delicious food.

Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

Availability for an immediate start following a successful interview.
