Annual salary of $139,597.42 - $143,903.05 + Statutory Superannuation
The City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters is an inner eastern metropolitan Council, nestled on the outskirts of the CBD. The area enjoys a reputation as one of Adelaide’s most desirable places to live, work, study and visit.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced business professional to drive and facilitate improvement across the organisation. This leadership position requires the provision of sound advice, support and expertise to assist with the efficient and effective delivery of Council’s services.
The Role
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Manager, Organisational Improvement & Transformation, is responsible for coordinating and positively influencing the ongoing improvement and transformation of the organisation. The Manager is responsible for developing resources, improvement tools and providing advice that improves service to our citizens, operational efficiency and effectiveness. They will lead preparation of the organisation’s Corporate Plan, and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
To be successful in this position you will be a strong leader who possesses the following skills and experience:
· Post graduate qualification in continuous improvement, change management or project management.
· Relevant qualifications in business, change management, service and / or continuous improvement (e.g. Lean Thinking or the Australian Business Excellence Framework) together with requisite skills and external experience.
· Experience in socialising change management, customer experience and/or continuous improvement.
· Experience in delivering process improvements that are cross functional.
· Presentation and facilitation skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
