Role overview

As our Automotive Technician, you'll be right in the thick of it, using your automotive mechanical and electrical expertise to provide top-notch support to our customers and contribute to our product development.

You'll be the go-to person for technical sales enquiries, after-sales support (including our international sales), and you'll even get to collaborate with our product development team on exciting new designs. We're looking for someone who's confident and qualified to work on vehicles, a natural communicator, and organised enough to manage a workshop when needed.

Day-to-day

Provide outstanding customer service and support.

Identifying customers’ needs and making recommendations for their application.

Updating and maintaining CRM system & records.

Processing and follow-up on sales, quotes, referrals, and enquiries.

Occasional face-to-face sales, service enquiries & quotations.

Attending trade shows as required (occasional nights and weekends).

Provide after-sales support & service.

Product assessment.

Product development alongside our engineering team.

Qualifications

Experience in sales and customer service.

Automotive qualifications are highly preferred.

Proven experience managing a workshop environment.

Clear and concise communication skills – you can explain technical stuff without the jargon overload.

A genuine enthusiasm to learn and become a product knowledge guru.

Strong literacy and numeracy skills

Intermediate computer skills

A bonus if you've got experience with CAD or Solidworks.

Note - It is preferred that applicants are located in Brisbane and have Permanent Work Rights.

Training will be provided in all areas where required, including specific product and systems training with ongoing support. You will be working in a team environment and may be required to contribute to other areas of the business if required.
