Located on the iconic King Street Wharf, Georges Mediterranean offers a cutting edge bar & restaurant experience. We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic hospitality gun to join our team.

If you are sick of closing every night - our venue is open lunch-dinner during the week, and breakfast-dinner during the weekend. A wide-range of shifts are available and we can offer some much-needed work-life-balance to the right candidate.

This is a high-volume restaurant so experience is required. Comprehensive training will be on offer, but this role is perfect for someone ready to hit the ground running. Ideal candidates will be confident across both floor and bar, and have a genuine drive for amazing customer service.

Full time hours are available for the right candidate, but we are also happy to accommodate different scheduling needs if you have a second job or are studying. Weekend availability is required.

Duties include:

Greeting and welcoming guests, seating them appropriately

Take food and drink orders, providing menu knowledge and recommendations

Serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining high presentation standards

Regularly check on guests, refill drinks, clear plates, and address needs

Demonstrate ability to upsell product, such as recommending wine or set menu options

Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to meet special requests and dietary needs

Maintain cleanliness in your section, including wiping tables and resetting

Accurately process payments

Handle any guest concerns professionally

Assist team members during busy periods and help with setup and cleanup
