About the role

We are seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Attendant to join our dynamic team at the Hilton Garden Inn Albany. As a part-time Food and Beverage Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant and bar facilities. What you'll be doing

Greeting and seating guests, taking food and beverage orders, and delivering orders in a timely and professional manner

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the dining and bar areas

Assisting with food preparation and garnishing as required

Operating the point-of-sale system accurately

Troubleshooting and resolving customer inquiries and concerns

Collaborating with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure a seamless dining experience

Adhering to all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations

What we're looking for

At least 1 year of experience in a similar food and beverage attendant or waitstaff role within the hospitality industry

Strong customer service skills and a genuine passion for providing excellent guest experiences

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team

Knowledge of food and beverage service best practices and procedures

Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling

A friendly, professional, and reliable demeanour
