We’re now seeking a proactive and personable Office Administrator to support our team, clients, and day-to-day operations in a varied and rewarding role.
About the Opportunity:
As the Office Administrator, you’ll be the first point of contact for our valued clients and the engine room behind our smooth operations. You’ll manage key workflow, coordinate administrative processes, and provide essential support to our accountants and bookkeepers.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a professional, people-focused environment and enjoys working across a diverse range of tasks in a public practice setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage office workflow, client correspondence, and scheduling support.
Greet clients warmly and coordinate phone and front-desk enquiries.
Collate and lodge tax returns and financial documents using XPM.
Support debtor management and maintain petty cash records.
Handle mail, scanning, document control, and database updates.
Assist with ASIC company secretarial documentation and lodgments.
Support website and blog updates; create social media content.
Provide general admin support to the Director and team, including spreadsheet preparation, phone call correspondence and client scheduling and engagement.
About You:
Previous experience in a public practice accounting firm or professional office environment.
Confident managing multiple admin priorities and liaising with clients.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and initiative.
Experience working in a paperless office environment is highly regarded.
Bonus Skills (Not Essential):
Familiarity with Xero/XPM, ATO portals, or ASIC lodgment tools.
Exposure to social media content creation and website maintenance.
