Sydney CBD | 3 days in-office, 2 days WFH
Full-time | $120,000 – $140,000 + super

We’re excited to be hiring our very own Finance Manager here at Lotus People! With offices in Sydney and Brisbane, we’re an award-winning boutique recruitment agency known for our human-first approach, deep industry knowledge, and long-term partnerships with clients and candidates alike.

We’re looking for a commercially minded and hands-on finance professional to join our Sydney HQ and lead the end-to-end finance function.

You’ll be an integral part of the team, bringing structure, insights, and a proactive approach to financial operations, while working closely with the broader business to support growth.

What you’ll be doing:

• Own all aspects of finance including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cashflow management
• Oversee AP/AR, credit control, invoicing, reconciliations, and outsourced payroll
• Drive margin analysis, cashflow forecasting and board reporting
• Partner with our sales and temp teams to provide meaningful financial insight
• Collaborate with external accountants, auditors, and manage key banking relationships
• Implement process improvements and automation across finance systems
• Develop policies, controls, and ensure compliance with tax and regulatory obligations

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years’ experience in finance
• CPA or CA qualified (or working towards)
• Experience with Xero and cloud-based tools
• A strong understanding of cashflow management and financial operations
• Someone proactive, curious, and values-aligned, you’re hands-on, commercial, and excited to grow with us
• A great communicator who builds relationships easily and loves being part of a team
