About the company:

Our client provides their expertise in Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls Engineering, with projects in both mining and oil & gas.

This role will have you working on the design, development and implementation of E&I solutions for commercial & industrial projects.

Responsibilities:

Conducting site inspections, testing and commission of E&I systems

Mentoring & supporting the junior engineers and project teams

Preparing, reviewing, and approving detailed technical documentation

Management of project deliverables whilst adhering to Australian & International standards.

Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Instrument Engineering or relevant equivalent

Minimum of 8+ years experience in electrical & instrumentation engineering withing the mining, energy or industrial sectors

Strong knowledge of Australian standards including (AS/NZS 1768, AS/NZS 3000, AS 3800, AS 60076, AS 60079, AS 61439, AS/NZS 61508, AS 61511)

Experience in HV, LV, instrumentation, automation & control systems

Proficiency & experience in engineering design software including AutoCAD, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, ETAP, CDEGS or similar tools

Prior site based working experience including commissioning & troubleshooting
