At Hychem we manufacture and distribute industrial coatings and composite systems nationally for the protection of concrete, metal and other surfaces, as well as providing structural systems for infrastructure. We also supply grouts, repair mortars, decorative and other associated products for a wide range of industries.

You will be part of a small production team. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician, to play a crucial role in the production of high-quality FRP/composite materials and their subsequent packaging. Much of the production involves resin infusion of fabrics/mats. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring precision manufacturing, adhering to safety standards, and maintaining overall production efficiency.

You will be part of a small but experienced production team and will need to work in a safe manner, with good organizational skills, accuracy and generally a high level of competence and responsibility for your work and work area.

The role has a range of requirements including:

Using various hand/power tools and equipment

Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure product quality and efficiency.

Weighing materials

Basic computer skills (Emails, Microsoft word/excel)

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Physical ability to lift and move materials as required in a manufacturing setting.

Packaging/palletising products for dispatch.

Operating forklift - forklift license is required or willing to obtain.

You do not need extensive experience to apply but reliability, enthusiasm and positive attitude, and a desire to contribute in an all-round productive way will go a long way to success.
