About the Role: Part time 48 Hours Per Fortnight
The Volunteer Transport and Support Officer provides coordination for the Volunteer Transport Program and support to the Volunteer and Fundraising Manager in the administration and delivery of Volunteer Programs across all Bass Coast Health sites.

Key Selection Criteria:

· Provide coordination and support for all aspects of the Volunteer Transport Driver program

· Support the Volunteer and Fundraising Manager to maintain systems and processes within the Volunteer Program, ensuring safe, high quality service provision

· Assist with maintaining regular and effective communication with BCH Volunteers e.g. mail-outs, newsletters and targeted communication.

· Communication with community members, Volunteers and Staff via email, telephone or SMS

· Support the Volunteer and Fundraising Manager to develop and grow BCH Volunteer Programs

· Booking community members with Bass Coast Health Volunteer Transport Drivers

· Assist with scheduling of volunteer meetings, training and celebrations

· Attend Volunteer fundraisers/functions when necessary

· Discretion in dealing with sensitive issues

· Administration Support to the Volunteer and Fundraising Manager

· Support accurate and timely data entry and reporting

· Updating Volunteer Management Program

· Record-keeping using MasterCare, iPM Patient Management System and My Aged Care

Mandatory:

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Excellent time management and organisational skills

· Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with volunteers, staff and clients

· Excellent computer and data entry ability, with well-developed skills in Microsoft Office

· Current Victorian driver’s licence

· A valid Police Check

· Working With Children’s Check

· Seasonal vaccination
