Our thriving café is seeking casual café members to join our friendly team for 3-5 days a week.

Options include weekdays only, weekends and/or a combination.

Responsibilities:

An emphasis on excellent customer service, while maintaining a positive can-do attitude.

Customer efficiency: achieved by fulfilling food and beverage orders, all served in a timely positive manner.

Preparing barista-style coffee and other beverages to the highest standards (training provided).

Using the POS system and cash handling effectively (training provided).

A tidy café environment that includes, clearing tables and always maintaining a professional setting.

Assisting in food preparation and basic kitchen duties as required (training provided).

Demonstrating a proactive approach: an inclusive dynamic team, happy to assist each other when the need arises.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a café or hospitality setting is preferred, but not essential.

A genuine passion for making people feel welcome, with an emphasis on achieving the highest level of customer service.

Barista skills or a willingness to learn coffee preparation (training provided).

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work well within our dynamic team.

Flexibility to work on EVENTS / CATERING functions.

Must have a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), or willingness to obtain one.
