Senior Risk Analyst - NSW Government

• Up to $610 p/d + super
• 6 month contract with extensions
• Parramatta / WFH

Primary Purpose of the Role

The Senior Risk Analyst facilitates the implementation of risk management and business continuity planning frameworks to strengthen organisational preparedness, ensure regulatory compliance, and support strategic objectives.

Key Accountabilities

• Provide expert advice on risk and business continuity management policies and procedures.
• Facilitate strategic and operational risk assessments and maintain directorate-level risk registers.
• Prepare reports and updates for internal committees and executive leadership.
• Lead business continuity planning initiatives including research, implementation, and evaluation.
• Ensure alignment between risk registers and strategic planning outcomes.
• Conduct research and recommend policy or process changes based on industry best practice and evolving organisational needs.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience in risk management, business continuity planning, and compliance.
• Strong analytical, research, and policy development skills.
• Ability to communicate complex risk concepts clearly to varied audiences.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes in a dynamic environment.
