- Based in QLD as a GP Sales Representative, looking after the Sunshine Coast, this territory commences at Strathpine/Sandgate and extends North, encompassing Caloundra to Noosa (inclusive of Bribie Island, Caboolture, Maleny, Kilcoy, Kingaroy and Hinterland). The territory extends north encompassing all towns North to Bundaberg.

THE JOB – WHAT YOU WILL LEAD & GROW
- Reporting to the Queensland Business Manager, this GP Sales Representative role is responsible for achieving territory budget for nominated products.
- This is achieved by the promotion of designated products to General Practitioners, Pharmacists and related customers in accordance with the sales and marketing strategy.
- The role also requires the facilitation, coordination, and management of occasional evening educational meetings and weekend conference/seminar trade displays.
- The position is responsible for thoroughly understanding the dynamics and drivers on the Sunshine Coast territory, (e.g. managed care, customers, financial impact, competitors, and the market and patient demographics) and for drawing upon this knowledge to develop and implement a comprehensive territory business plan.
- Primary areas of focus are to achieve sales budget, plan and make appointments with key doctors and key allied health professionals using all available information from the customer database and promote products according to marketing strategies and selling messages of the cycle plan, including planned contact with key customers and defined marketing objectives.
- You will also deliver effective presentations to clinical groups.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Tertiary qualifications or compensating work experience in related discipline (Sciences, Business or Applied Science).
- Minimum 2 years proven successful selling experience in the pharmaceutical industry to GP’s.
- Time management and planning and organisational skills.
- Business acumen, commercial approach to grow sales.
- IT proficiency – including MS Office suite.
- Valid driver’s license and fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
- Medicines Australia Code of Conduct certification preferable.
