About the role

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Gardener to join the dynamic team at Newcastle Maintenance Group. As a Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the visual appeal of various commercial and residential properties across the Newcastle region. This full-time role offers the chance to work in a friendly, fast-paced environment while contributing to the overall success of the business.

What you'll be doing

Carrying out regular garden maintenance

Planting and caring for a variety of shrubs, flowers, and other plants

Applying fertilisers, mulch, and other soil amendments to promote plant health

Reporting on the condition of the gardens and making recommendations for improvements

Ensuring all gardening equipment is well-maintained and used safely

Adhering to all relevant health and safety guidelines

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Gardener or Landscape Maintenance Technician

Knowledge of horticultural practices and plant care

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good physical fitness and stamina to handle the physical demands of the role

Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards

A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
