Senior Product Engineer - Low-Code Business Applications Team

We're looking for a Senior Product Engineer to help us create and scale low-code that improve the efficiency and outcomes of the state's largest employer. What You'll Do:
- Architect and develop model-driven Power Platform applications that scale across government agencies, enhancing their efficiency and effectiveness.
- Refine and optimize existing solutions to evolve them into reusable, multi-agency platforms, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.
- Champion best practices in low-code development, governance, and automation, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify new opportunities for government-wide solutions, understanding their unique needs and translating them into scalable digital platforms.
- Drive DevOps and automation to improve delivery speed and maintainability, ensuring that all solutions are robust, secure, and future-proof.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, sharing your expertise and helping them grow professionally.
- Engage in unique business improvement projects across NSW government, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to deliver impactful solutions.
What You Bring:
- Expertise in Power Platform, particularly model-driven apps and Dataverse, is essential for designing and implementing robust solutions for government agencies.
- Strong problem-solving skills allow you to think beyond one-off solutions, designing for scale and sustainability.
- Experience with enterprise-level digital platforms and low-code solutions highlights your ability to handle complex projects and deliver quality outcomes.
- A product mindset ensures that you create sustainable platforms that can be reused and adapted across multiple agencies.
- Understanding DevOps and CI/CD practices within Power Platform development is key to improving delivery speed and maintainability.
- Strong communication skills enable you to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Leadership experience and the ability to mentor, coach, and lead a technical team are invaluable for fostering a culture of growth and innovation.
- Proficiency in frameworks such as Microsoft .Net Framework, Liquid, Visual Studio, Javascript, and HTML, as well as advanced Power Platform features like PCF Controls and Custom Connectors, is highly desirable.
- Microsoft Certifications like Power Platform Functional Consultant (PL-200) or Developer Associate (PL-400), along with experience in Jira or Azure DevOps, further demonstrate your proficiency.

Salary Grade 9/10, with the base salary for this role starting at 125,693 base plus superannuation
