About the Role

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) leads the day-to-day operations, service delivery and advocacy of the Association. They report directly to the Management Committee and work with them to formulate strategic direction and ensure the sustainability of the organisation. The CEO must also ensure that CbyC meets its contractual, legislative, and regulatory obligations.

Key outcomes of the CEO role include:

Optimised use of organisational resources to achieve strategic goals

Assured financial sustainability into the future

Strengthened relationships with key stakeholders, government and non-government agencies and services, and philanthropic partners

· Regulatory compliance

Increased organisational capability

Strengthened the reputation and brand of CbyC

About You

CbyC’s new CEO will be a respected, inspiring and innovative leader who embraces our vision, mission and values. You will demonstrate exceptional communication skills in all forums and environments.

You will have senior leadership experience in the NFP/community sector and have a strong understanding of women’s health and/or sexual and reproductive health. You will have successfully implemented strategic plans, engaged stakeholders, managed NFP financial responsibilities, and led a diverse organisation.

It is a genuine requirement of this position that the CEO be a person who identifies as a woman as per the exemption granted to CbyC by the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission.
