Boiler Operator - Morning Shift

Australian Meat Group is an Australian owned beef processing facility based in Cootamundra. We are looking for a Boiler Attendant for our morning shifts.

Key Responsibilities of this Role:

You will be responsible for turning on the boiler and maintaining its temperature throughout the day. As our plant starts early, you will be expected to be onsite at 5 am daily. The role includes, but is not limited to:

• Reporting to the Maintenance department.
• Working alone or as part of a team.
• Working in a safe manner.
• Working with pressurised vessels.
• Maintaining boiler temperatures, including starting the boiler in the morning and monitoring temperature throughout the day.
• Communicating with the Maintenance team for any technical issues.
• Additional tasks within the Maintenance team as directed by the Maintenance manager.

To be successful in this role, you must:

• Have previous experience using an unattended boiler.
• Have a Boiler Standard or Boiler Advanced ticket.
• Be able to work independently.

A Forklift license would be advantageous.
