We are seeking a motivated grader operator to join and run our grading line.

Lead a small and tight-knit production team of two full time workers in our grading facility.

Based in Young NSW in the Hilltops Council area.

Permanent full-time position with additional hours offered as needed.

Scope for future growth as the business expands product lines.

Secure employment with existing long-term business.

Note. This job is seasonal and will finish once the grading is completed. The normal grading season starts mid-April and goes through to September but this is dependent on the amount of product to be graded.

There is opportunity for other roles in this business once the grading has been finished.

Who we are

Country Foods has been operating since 1927 and primarily processes and packages prunes (dried plums) under the ‘Verity Prunes’ branding which are sold Australia wide in Woolworths, Coles and select IGA stores. We are a small team and a locally owned family business, bringing you ongoing support and training as you transition into your new role.

Key duties:

Perform regular quality checks throughout grading.

Regularly check and maintain adequate stock levels.

Complete daily/weekly production records and accompanying paperwork.

Lead the team in maintaining a safe and clean factory environment.

Previous experience in a production environment working with any of the abovementioned machinery is desirable but not essential. Full training will be provided.

Requirements:

Current forklift license.

Must bring a positive attitude and strong work ethic to the workplace.

Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment and prioritize competing needs.

Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 35kg.
