We’re seeking a passionate Trainer & Assessor to deliver nationally accredited qualifications in Leadership & Management to support the growth and capability of the Aboriginal Health and Wellbeing Workforce.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver and assess Leadership & Management qualifications in a culturally safe and engaging environment.

Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student progression in VETtrak.

Provide support to students to maintain high retention and completion rates.

Contribute to continuous improvement in training resources and delivery strategies.

Participate in validation, moderation, and compliance activities in line with RTO standards.

Collaborate with compliance and student support teams to ensure learner success.

Undertake professional development and keep the Trainer Matrix current.

Contribute to VACCHO's strategic vision and uphold the organisation’s values in all activities.

Candidate Requirements

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or higher.

Diploma or higher in Leadership & Management or related field.

Minimum 2 years' experience delivering adult vocational training.

Demonstrated industry currency and up-to-date trainer matrix.

Experience working in the Aboriginal Community Controlled sector (desirable).

Strong understanding of culturally responsive training practices.

Willingness to travel to regional delivery sites when required.

Current National Police Check and Working with Children Check.

Victorian Driver’s Licence and ability to travel within Victoria.
