About the role

Mayfield Education is seeking an experienced Trainer & Assessor to deliver the Diploma of Nursing program in our Hawthorn East, VIC campus. This is a sessional position with the opportunity to work from 0930-1530, making it an excellent fit for those seeking a rewarding career in vocational education and training.

What you'll be doing

Deliver face-to-face training and assessment for the Diploma of Nursing program

Prepare and deliver engaging theoretical and practical sessions

Assess students' competence against the relevant training package requirements

Provide regular feedback and support to students to aid their learning and development

Maintain accurate student records and support administrative tasks as required

Contribute to the continuous improvement of training and assessment materials

What we're looking for

A registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent) qualifications, including a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and

Significant experience as a Trainer & Assessor in the vocational education and training sector, preferably in the nursing and workplace currency

Demonstrated ability to design and deliver effective training programs and assessments

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students

Excellent organisational and time management skills

A passion for education and a commitment to student success
