About the role

T2 Care Support Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker to join their dynamic team. In this casual role, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and personalised care to individuals with disability, helping them to live independently and engage with their local community. The role is based in Ballarat, VIC 3350.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting clients with daily living activities such as administering medication, meal preparation, and household tasks
• Facilitating social and recreational activities to support clients' wellbeing and community participation
• Advocating for clients' rights and ensuring their individual needs are met with dignity and respect
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with organisational and legislative requirements
• Collaborating with allied health professionals and family members to develop and implement client-centred support plans
• Providing a safe and supportive environment for clients at all times

What we're looking for

• A Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent qualification
• Previous experience providing direct care and support to individuals with disability, mental health conditions, or complex needs
• A compassionate, empathetic, and person-centered approach to care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
• A current driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Commitment to 2-3 shifts per week, including sleepover shifts. Immediate start!
• Aged between 25-35 years with a genuine interest in bike riding, outdoor activities, pets and music.
