Koben Digital is hiring an experienced SEO/SEM professional to shape and deliver performance marketing campaigns for clients across Australia and international markets. You’ll work across strategy, execution, optimisation, and reporting, driving measurable growth and real outcomes.

This isn’t a role for someone learning the ropes. We need someone with agency experience who’s confident managing campaigns, presenting to clients, and translating data into clear decisions. You’ll join a cross-disciplinary team focused on quality delivery, not churn.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Execution
Plan and implement SEO and paid search campaigns for government, non-profit, and commercial clients.

Client Engagement
Present strategies and performance insights clearly, helping clients understand and act on what matters.

Campaign Management
Set goals, manage budgets, and refine campaign delivery to improve outcomes.

Technical SEO
Run audits, identify issues, and apply best practices for indexing, structure, schema markup, and performance.

Paid Search
Launch and manage campaigns in Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, with a focus on ROI and clarity.

Reporting & Insights
Create structured, meaningful reports, spotting patterns, interpreting the data, and making proactive recommendations that tie to client goals.

Tools & Tracking
Use platforms like Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Tag Manager, Looker Studio, Search Console, AHREFs, Screaming Frog, and SEMrush to track performance, gather insights, and validate changes.

Sales Support
Assist with performance marketing scopes and contribute to proposals for new and existing clients.

Continuous Improvement
Stay current with SEO/SEM trends, algorithm changes, and emerging tools, including AI-driven developments, to improve client results.

About You

3+ years of hands-on SEO/SEM experience

Agency experience is required, you understand how to juggle multiple clients and stay accountable

Strong analytical mindset, you enjoy interpreting data and making it actionable

Confident communicator who can explain strategies, numbers, and outcomes clearly

Strategic yet detail-oriented, you balance the big picture with practical delivery

Familiar with HTML/CSS and CMS platforms like WordPress or Umbraco, while you won’t implement code directly, you’ll work closely with our technical team to ensure recommendations are actioned
