J T Roach Painters specializes in new housing, and residential private work mainly in the Mandurah/Rockingham areas.

We are currently seeking a Trade Qualified painter (or at least 5 years’ experience) to join our expanding team on a permanent full-time basis. We provide a supportive team environment, are customer focused and we’re looking for enthusiastic, positive people to join the team.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing surfaces for painting (e.g. sanding, filling, gapping)
• Applying paint and other finishes to various surfaces using brushes, rollers and spray
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area
• All general painting & decorating services
• Be able to communicate well with clients and other trades on site
• Maintaining tools and equipment in good condition
• Adhering to safety protocols and regulations at all times

You will need:

• Trade Certificate or at least 5 years experience
• Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
• Clean, tidy and presentable
• High quality workmanship
• Ability to use own initiative and prioritize tasks
• Excellent communication skills
• Have your own reliable vehicle and hold a full driver's license
• Own hand tools
• White Card
• Abn
