Industrial Spray Painter / Sandblasting Technician

Permanent, Full-time (38 hours per week +)

Location: Sumner, QLD, 4074

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Industrial Spray Painter / Sandblaster to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Loading & unloading of blast grit

Remove & refit truck bodies

Loading & unloading of spray booths

General booth maintenance (booth filters, cleaning)

Preparation of surfaces prior to abrasive blasting

Loading hopper of blast media

Emptying dust recycler

Operate abrasive blasting equipment to remove corrosion or other materials from surfaces

Material handling

Basic trouble-shooting of equipment

Quality assurance

Cleaning equipment and work areas.

General workshop duties

Application of epoxy primers, single pack, two pack paints

Masking & Unmasking

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience required

Strong work ethic and dedication to quality craftsmanship.

Forklift License

Strong attention to detail

Salary and Benefits:

$30.00-$45.00 Flat Hourly + per hour pending skill level

Full-time + Superannuation, permanent position.

Standard 38 hour working week Monday - Friday

Monday-Thursday 7.30am-4.00pm, Friday 7.30am-1.30pm.
