QLD Blasting & Coatings is a Brisbane based company which is a part of the Maintech Group. We offer an extensive range of Abrasive blasting and protective coatings. Our Narangba based facility has a modern 20m x 6m blast booth accompanied by our fully serviced 800m2 Tilt slab painting booth. QLD Blasting has the capacity to handle large projects & the processes in place to carry out finer detailed work. QLD Blasting are specialists in the application of protective coatings. All substrates can be coated in-house with a wide range industrial and decorative coatings. Aligned partners Dulux, International, PPG, Jotun, Hempel & having the knowledge base around all of these products affords QLD Blasting the ability to cover and undertake a very broad spectrum of work.

We are seeking a well-seasoned and highly experienced industrial coatings applicator or Abrasive blaster to join our team. The primary role will be industrial painting at our Narangba facility, with the occasional site job. The successful applicant must be able to spray all types of industrial coatings to the required quality and film thickness. We also carry out some Architectual, Semi-automotive type finishes from time to time, so if you have some finesse skills, this will also prove quite handy.

This is a long-term, full-time position for the right applicant, you must be available to work as part of a team and be flexible to working ongoing overtime to meet our customer expectations.

Advantageous to this role will be a NACE qualification, Working at Heights, Confined Space and any other High-Risk tickets.
