About the role

We are seeking an experienced Head Waiter to join our team at GRANATA'S' in Merrylands, NSW. As Head Waiter, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dining room and ensuring exceptional customer service. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in delivering an outstanding dining experience for our guests.

What you'll be doing

Supervising and coordinating the waiting staff team to ensure efficient and timely service

Greeting and seating guests, and managing the flow of customers in the dining room

Responding to customer queries and addressing any concerns in a professional and courteous manner

Assisting with menu recommendations and order-taking to enhance the overall dining experience

Monitoring inventory levels and placing orders for necessary supplies

Providing training and feedback to the waiting staff to continually improve service quality

Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations within the dining room

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Head Waiter or in a similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team

Excellent customer service orientation and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences

Familiarity with food and beverage service, including menu knowledge and wine pairing

Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and inventory management software

A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
