Female Support Workers Wanted – Psychosocial Disability, Complex Health & Behaviour Support

Location: Clarkson shifts 10am-2pm and 5pm-8pm Monday-Sunday

Male and Female - Location: Balga - shifts 7am-11am and 6pm-8pm Monday to Sunday

We are seeking reliable, compassionate, and trauma-informed support workers to assist two women with complex psychosocial and medical needs. Both participants require consistent, patient support to increase independence, build daily living skills, and improve their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

Support with domestic tasks (cleaning, cooking, shopping)

Transport and community access

Assistance with medication and monitoring compliance

Encouraging development of budgeting, routine, and life skills

Promoting social engagement and improved family/community relationships

Supporting emotional regulation and early intervention for deteriorating mental health

Assistance post-hospitalisation and management of chronic medical conditions (including epilepsy and COPD)

Participant Profiles:

One participant is living with schizophrenia and has a history of physical and verbal aggression. She is working towards future part-time employment and increased independence.

The second participant is a 60-year-old woman with psychosocial disability, epilepsy, cognitive impairment, and a history of chronic health issues including IHD, CKD, COPD, and past substance misuse. She was recently discharged from hospital following a fall and seizure.

We are looking for support workers who:

Can confidently manage challenging behaviours and complex needs

Are trauma-informed, consistent, and compassionate

Are committed to building trust and rapport over time
