Job Title: Construction Bookkeeper (Xero Specialist)​

We are currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper proficient in Xero to manage our financial operations and support our continued growth.​

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including accurate data entry, invoicing, and management of accounts receivable and payable.

Reconcile bank statements and maintain precise financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Prepare and file payroll, Business Activity Statements (BAS), Instalment Activity Statements (IAS), and Superannuation contributions in accordance with Australian regulations.

Issue progress payment invoices to clients, ensuring timely and accurate billing aligned with project milestones.

Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analyses to support strategic decision-making.

Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Utilise Xero accounting software effectively for all financial tasks, ensuring data integrity and streamlined processes.

Leverage experience with Buildertrend or similar construction software to enhance project financial management.​

Qualifications and Experience:

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper within the construction industry.

Proficiency in Xero accounting software is essential.

Familiarity with Buildertrend or other construction management software is highly desirable.

Strong understanding of Australian financial regulations, including BAS, IAS, and Superannuation requirements.

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing outstanding client service.​
