About the role

Do you consider yourself a bit of a handy person ? Looking for a position where you can apply your wide range of skills? G & J Cleveland property services Pty ltd is seeking a Handyperson All rounder to join our team in Coopers Plains, QLD. This is a casual position but for the right people it will become full time within 6 months.

What you'll be doing

Carrying out a variety of general property maintenance and repair tasks, including carpentry, painting, tiling, fencing, lock replacement , and the list goes on.

Providing hands-on assistance for a range of projects to maintain and improve residential and commercial properties

Troubleshooting and resolving issues quickly and efficiently

Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with relevant regulations and safety protocols

Collaborating with other tradespeople and contractors as needed

Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all work undertaken

What we're looking for

Willing to learn a variety of trade skills, including carpentry, painting, tiling and basic landscaping.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks to a high standard

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Commitment to safety and following proper procedures

Reliable, punctual and able to work flexibly as required
