Bundaleer Rainforest Gardens is a family-owned wedding venue located in a picturesque pocket of Brookfield, just 20 minutes from Brisbane CBD. Nestled within lush rainforest and open paddocks, Bundaleer has been hosting beautiful weddings and events for over 25 years.

We’re a small, passionate team who take pride in delivering seamless, high-quality events in a natural and relaxed setting.

The Role
We’re on the lookout for a reliable, hands-on Venue Operations All-Rounder to join our team. Reporting to Marie-Claire, our Wedding Venue Executive, this role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and being part of a supportive, down-to-earth team where common sense and good vibes are appreciated.

You’ll get a full induction into how our weddings run, so you understand the bigger picture when setting up the venue for each event.

Key Responsibilities

Setting up and packing down ceremony and reception spaces

General venue maintenance, cleaning, and tidying

Assisting with furniture moves, outdoor lighting, signage, and decor installations

Managing small repairs and practical on-site tasks

Supporting our coordinators in the smooth day-to-day operations of weddings and events

Helping with stock runs, deliveries, and occasional errands

Keeping our venue looking its best, rain, cyclone or shine!

Who You Are

Friendly, trustworthy, and hardworking

Takes initiative and enjoys being proactive

Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks

Practical, adaptable, and solutions-focused

Happy working solo or as part of a small team

Experience in a similar hands-on or hospitality setting is a bonus, but not essential

The Details

Casual role | $30–$35 per hour, depending on experience

A mix of weekday and weekend day shifts will be required, depending on the venue schedule.

Based at our venue in Brookfield

Start date: As soon as we find the right fit.

This role may grow into a part-time position for the right person
