WorkPac is seeking an Occupational Health Nurse for a FIFO role from Cairns to Far North Queensland. This is a rare opportunity for nurses interested in risk assessment and preventative health. No emergency response duties required – just meaningful, proactive health work!

About Our Client

Our client is a leading global mining company with a strong commitment to safety and employee wellbeing. They operate across multiple remote locations in Far North Queensland, delivering responsible and innovative mining practices that support the local community.

What You Will Be Doing

Conducting periodic medical assessments and health surveillance

Supporting return-to-work assessments and case management

Performing general risk assessments and workforce health inductions

Updating health records in (medical management system)

Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team across three sites

What You Will Need

Registered Nurse (AHPRA registrationa required)

Audiometric qualification (or willingness to obtain at your own expense-post successful application)
This will enable you more duties to perform on site to enable job satification.

Strong communication, adaptability, and team mindset

Interest in Occupational Health – training provided!

Current driver’s licence
