About the Role Lorg Talent is seeking a qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanic for a civil maintenance project in the Gove region of the Northern Territory. This is a FIFO role from Darwin, Brisbane, or Cairns.

• Roster: 3:1 (3 weeks on, 1 week off)
• Hours: 10-hour days, Monday to Saturday (Sundays off)
• Visa sponsorship available for the right candidate

Please note: You must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen and a pre-employment medical.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repairs on civil earthmoving machinery - excavators, loaders, tippers, bobcat, grader
• Responding to breakdowns and ensuring plant operational efficiency
• Supporting workshop activities and collaborating with the team
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Welding, cutting, and bolting parts as needed
• Adhering to safety and quality standards

What We’re Looking For

• Based in Darwin, Brisbane, or Cairns (FIFO point)
• HR Licence (minimum – must be Australian)
• Australian Recognised Trade Certificate – Diesel Fitting (TRA)
• Experience with civil earthmoving equipment
• Strong attention to detail and safety focus
• Able to work independently or as part of a team
