About the Opportunity
Take on a transformative leadership role where your operational expertise will directly shape the success of a fast-paced 24/7 production environment. This is not just a management position—it’s an opportunity to take things to the next level and lead a high-performing team and drive operational excellence. As a key member of the leadership team, you'll oversee a team working on a rotating shift schedule, ensuring peak efficiency, safety, and exceptional production standards. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will lead the charge in maintaining high standards in housekeeping, efficiency, and waste reduction. With industrial relations already in a positive, collaborative space, your leadership will be essential in preserving this momentum. By working closely with senior management, you’ll help shape a high-performance, values-driven culture while stepping in to lead when needed.

About You
You are a proven leader with a strong track record in driving operational excellence within manufacturing - this could be plasterboard, food, pharmaceuticals, heavy industry, or similar industrial environments. With your experience, you excel at developing high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, and optimising processes for continuous improvement. Your leadership style is firm but fair—structured, predictable, and clear in your expectations. You thrive in environments where you can mentor and empower your team, guiding them to take ownership and deliver exceptional results. Your background in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement methodologies, and data-driven problem-solving sets you up for success in this role. You have a keen understanding of the importance of quality and process adherence, and you navigate industrial relations with integrity and skill.
