Talk Health Therapy is an expanding allied health practice that specialises in delivering allied health services to individuals under the NDIS and CHSP program. We are looking for a highly skilled, experienced Practice Manager to join our team and help continue to grow Talk Health Therapy into a leading allied health company!

Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee daily clinic operations, handle virtual reception duties and front desk functions including client inquires and managing phone calls and emails.

Lead and support reception/admin staff and assist with onboarding of clinicians

Schedule and coordinate appointments for allied health practitioners and organise clinical diaries.

Help maintain relationships with referral partners and stakeholders.

Facilitate effective written and verbal communication among allied health staff and clients.

Provide exceptional customer service throughout the patient journey, from booking to intake, onboarding, and ongoing appointments.

Assist with general invoicing and debt reconciliation (in-house bookkeeper will assist with these tasks).

Support compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Document key business and administrative processes to assist with the development of the practice manual.

Train junior administration staff and ensure high-quality performance among all administration staff.

Assist Team Leaders with project initiatives and recruitment objectives.

Who Are You?

A minimum of 5 years of previous experience in a healthcare or allied health setting, preferably in a leadership or coordination role.

An empathetic yet professional individual with a balanced approach to patient care—compassionate but firm.

Effective communicator, proficient in managing staff and patient interactions efficiently.

Experienced project manager capable of handling multiple funding streams and projects while liaising with relevant stakeholders, ensuring positive client outcomes and staff satisfaction.

HR and team management skills, including recruiting, training, and supervising support staff and clinicians.

Proficiency with technology, including practice management software, Microsoft Office Suite and organisational software.

Ability to problem-solve, prioritise, and adapt in a busy, evolving environment.

Strong administrative, organisational, and time management skills with attention to detail.

Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.

Qualifications in Practice Management, Health Administration, or Business (desirable but not required).

Screening and External Authorisation Requirements:

National Police Check (authorised within the last three years).

NDIS Worker Screening Card.

Working with Children Check.

Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
