About the Opportunity

This position requires exceptional leadership skills and detailed engineering knowledge to help assist the growth & development of LS Precast with new products coming online, as well as managing the completion for the current scope of works.

The purpose of the role is to support the Senior Project Engineer ensure the seamless coordination of various teams and stakeholders, effectively managing and supervising technical aspects from design to completion, maintaining compliance with industry standards & specifications, engineering design and team performance.

The role requires the candidate to provide high level technical acumen, combined with their practical experience to optimize performance and the achievement of objectives.

Position Specific Responsibilities:

Take the lead for on-site engineering functions through subordinates which will include supporting Site Engineers, and Quality Engineers to develop & deliver planned works.

Monitor quality & quantities of incoming equipment and material, check work drawings, construction and specifications against site plans and conditions and arrange corrections or modifications where necessary.

Guide an engineering team, programme workloads and provide technical and administrative guidance to the engineering staff to ensure aims and objectives are effectively and economically achieved

Participate in planning future requirements including machine tools, ancillary equipment, major plant, and labour. Direct site surveys and preparatory work prior to construction.

Accurate forecasts of costs and revenue and utilise corrective action in line with relevant authority and reporting frameworks to maximise the profit margin.

Requirements for this role are:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Civil or Structural.

Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as Engineer in a precast facility.

Read, understand, interpret & apply specifications & standards that apply across the portfolio

Have high level skills with regards to people & stakeholder management
