Australian bank seeking an experienced Digital Product Owner to lead the delivery of a large-scale transformation program, focused on migrating customers to a new online banking platform. This role sits within the Digital team, where you will collaborate closely with designers, engineers, quality assurance analysts and architects to drive this critical initiative forward.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Vision & Strategy: Define and communicate a clear vision of the Epics assigned to you, ensuring alignment with the business goals and customer needs.
• Stakeholder Management: Serve as a point of contact for product-related matters, interacting with senior leadership, IT, compliance, and risk management teams to gather requirements, set priorities, and resolve issues.
• Agile Product Management: Lead the product lifecycle using Agile methodologies. Manage the product backlog, prioritise features, enhancements, and technical debt, ensuring successful and timely product delivery.
• Platform Integration: Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to oversee the consolidation project, ensuring successful migration of features, data, and services from the separate platforms to the new unified system.
• Requirements Definition & Documentation: Translate business requirements into actionable user stories, collaborating with business users and technical teams to clarify specifications and create comprehensive documentation.
• Customer-Centric Focus: Keep a pulse on customer needs and market trends to guide the development of features that improve user experience and increase adoption.
• Risk & Compliance: Ensure that the new platform meets all regulatory, compliance, and security requirements for digital banking platforms.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Experience: 4+ years of experience in product ownership or product management, particularly within digital banking or financial services. Previous experience with platform consolidation or migration projects is advantageous.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of banking technology, online banking platforms, APIs, cloud services, and technical integrations.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels to achieve strategic objectives.
