About the role
We are looking for a dynamic team player to liaise with our customers, overseas agents, Customs, Quarantine and 3rd Party Service Providers to ensure shipments meet the terms of the contract. Managing Shipping Schedule to meet customer expectations and ensuring document compliance. You will work with our clients and Operations department to ensure we meet transit and delivery schedules, liaise with external suppliers, keep clients advised of the progress of their consignments and support the team on a day-to-day basis.

What you'll be doing

Coordinate the end-to-end import and export processes for a portfolio of clients

Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other supply chain partners to address any issues or delays

Prepare and submit customs documentation, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations

Provide regular updates to clients on the status of their shipments

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficient workflows

Maintain accurate records and generate relevant reports

Support the team with ad-hoc administrative tasks as required

What we're looking for

2+ years of experience in an import/export or customs coordination role

Strong working knowledge of customs procedures, regulations, and documentation requirements

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Proficient in using relevant software and technology to track shipments and generate reports

Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Tertiary qualification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred
