About the Role
Stedmans Hospitality on behalf of our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Food & Beverage Assistant to support our Food & Beverage Manager in delivering exceptional pantry, lunch, and ad-hoc event services across our corporate sites. Key Responsibilities
Pantry Program
Maintain and replenish a variety of beverages, snacks, and pantry essentials.
Manage inventory and ordering processes across multiple sites.
Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure quality and efficiency.
Keep pantry areas tidy, organized, and fully stocked.
Use Slack, Hampr live chat, and email to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Gather and relay feedback to improve services.
Lunch Program & Events
Assist in the coordination and setup of daily lunch service.
Prepare signage, update menus, and manage digital displays.
Support the delivery, setup, and pack down of catering and events.
Work with the F&B Manager on planning and executing ad-hoc events.
General Duties
Keep stock rooms, fridges, and kitchen areas clean and well-organized.
Monitor and replenish essential supplies such as coffee, tea, and milk.
Perform regular stock rotation and expiry checks.
Assist with monthly invoicing and documentation.
Be available for occasional evening events as needed.
Food Safety
Follow all food safety, hygiene, and WHS protocols.
Practice FIFO and dispose of expired goods accordingly.
Maintain clean and safe storage and kitchen environments.
About You
Minimum 2 years' experience in food, catering, or events in an operational role.
Background in corporate food service environments preferred.
RSA certification required.
Strong attention to detail with a proactive and service-oriented mindset.
Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and related tools.
A solid understanding of food trends, dietary needs, and cost control.
Ability to work autonomously and in collaboration with teams.
Desirable (but not essential):
Prior experience in managing office pantry services.
Familiarity with inventory tracking systems.
Additional Details
Must be able to commit to a minimum of one year in the role.
Candidates must have full working rights in Australia (visa holders accepted with no work restrictions).
Fluent English (spoken and written) required.
